GIVEN :-

  • Height ( h ) = 4 m.
  • Radius ( r ) = 3 m.

TO FIND :-

  • Surface area of cylinder.

SOLUTION :-

As we know that,

 \\ : \implies  \displaystyle \sf \: surface \: area = 2\pi rh + 2\pi r^{2}  \\  \\  \\

 : \implies  \displaystyle \sf \: surface \: area = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 3 \times 4 + 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times (3) ^{2}  \\  \\  \\

 : \implies  \displaystyle \sf \: surface \: area =  \frac{44}{7}  \times 12 +  \frac{44}{7}  \times 9 \\  \\  \\

 : \implies  \displaystyle \sf \: surface \: area =  \frac{528}{7}  +  \frac{396}{7}  \\  \\  \\

 : \implies  \displaystyle \sf \: surface \: area =  \frac{528+ 396}{7}  \\  \\  \\

 : \implies  \displaystyle \sf \: surface \: area =  \frac{924}{7}  \\  \\  \\

 : \implies  \underline { \boxed{\displaystyle \sf \: surface \: area = 132\: m ^{2} }} \\  \\

Hence the surface area of the cylinder is 132 m².

Answer:

528 Meter Square

Step-by-step explanation:

TSA= 2Πrh (h+r)

Here,

Height= 4m

Radius= 3m

Therefore,

  • 2 × 22/7 × 3×4 (3+4)
  • 24 × 22/7 × 7
  • 24 × 22
  • 528 Meter Square.
