We have :-

  • Radius of the base of Cylinder = 7 m.
  • Height of the Cylinder = 10 m .

To find :-

  • Surface Area of the Cylinder .

Formula used :-

Area of Cylinder (T.S.A) = 2πr( r + h )

Note:- whenever in the question, the Surface Area means the Total Surface Area (T.S.A)

Solution :-

Put the values of Radius = 7 m and Height = 10 m in above in the formula . we get :-

 \\ \\ \\ \\ \tt \bigg( 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 7(7 + 10) \bigg) \: {m}^{2} \\ \\ \tt \implies \: \:\bigg( 2 \times \frac{22}{ \cancel7} \times\cancel 7 \: (7 + 10)\bigg) \: {m}^{2} \\ \\ \tt\implies \:\bigg( 2 \times 22 \times 17\bigg)\: {m}^{2} \\ \\ \bf \: Surface \: Area \: = 748 \: {m}^{2} \\ \\ \\

Therefore, the Surface Area of Cylinder is 748 .
