surface area of sphere is 4pieR^2

so the surface area will be 4 x 7 x 7 x 3.14

that comes out to be = 615.44 cm^2

figure 2) its a hemisphere so the area will be half of the area of sphere + the area of a disc like surface which is evolved due to the partition of the two halves..

so it will be (4 x 3.14 x 7 x 7) / 2 + ( 3.14 x 7 x 7)
