Total surface area of one part = (1/8) of curved surface area of sphere + 2×Area of semi-circle.

=(1/8).4.π.r^2 + 2×(1/2.π.r^2).

=(1/2).π.r^2+ π.r^2.

=(3/2).π.r^2.

Putting. r = 8

=(3/2)×π×(8)^2. cm^2.

= 96 π cm^2. Answer
