Given :

  • Diameter of Sphere is 3.4 m .

To Find :

  • Surface Area of Sphere .

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Radius=\dfrac{3.4}{2}}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Surface\:Area\:of\:Sphere=4\pi{{r}^{2}}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{{\not{4}}\times\dfrac{22}{7}\times\dfrac{34}{{\not{2}}\times{10}}\times\dfrac{34}{{\not{2}}\times{10}}}

\longmapsto\tt{\dfrac{22\times{34}\times{34}}{7\times{10}\times{10}}}

\longmapsto\tt{\cancel\dfrac{25432}{700}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{36.2\:{m}^{2}}

So , The Surface Area of Sphere is 36.2 m² ..

Answer:

Surface area of sphere= A =

4\pi \: r {}^{2}

Diameter = 3.4m

Radius =3.4/2 = 1.7m

A = 4 pi (1.7)²

= 4 × 3.14 × 2.89

= 36.2984 m²
