Surface Area of a sphere = 4πr^2

=4×22/7×3.5^2
=1078/7
=154 cm^2

radius (r)of sphere =3.5/2=1.75
surface area of sphere =4πr^2
={4×22/7×(1.75)^2}
=38.5
therefore the area of the sphere having diameter 3.5 is 38.5cm
