Explanation:We know that °F=9/5×°C+32

Now, we want to know the temperature at which°C & °F are equal.

So in the above equation, I put both as x.

So, x= 9/5×x+32

=> 5x=9x+160

=> 5x-9x=160

=>-4x=160

=>x=-40

And, x=°C=°F=-40°

So, °C=°F at -40°
