respectively.

Solution:

4th term = a+(n-1)d

= a+(4-1)d = 2

= a+3d= 2....(I)

11th term

= a+(11-1)d = 65

= a+10d = 65....(ii)

Now subtract eq (I) from (ii)

a+10d -a -3d = 65-2

= 7d = 63

d = 63/7

d = 9

Here common difference = 9

put the value of d in eq (ii)

a +10×9 = 65

a = 65-90

a= -25

Now 10th term

= a+(n-1)d

= -25+(10-1)9

= -25+81

= 56
