The sum of the sides or angles of a triangle is 180°. There are three sides in a triangle. In an equilateral triangle all the sides will be of equal measure. So we will divide the sum of sides of triangle by the number of sides of a triangle.

180° ÷ 3

=> 60°

All three sides have the same measure that is 60°.
