Let the three consecutive terms :
x , x+1 , x+2
ATQ
x + x+1 + x+2 = 18
3x + 3 = 18
3x = 15
x = 5
So the three terms are :
5 , 6 , 7

Hi
Let ( x - 1 ) , x , ( x + 1 ) are three
consecutive numbers ,
Sum = 18
x - 1 + x + x + 1 = 18
3x = 18
x = 18/3
x = 6
Therefore ,
Required numbers are ,
( x - 1 ) = 6 - 1 = 5 ,
x = 6 ,
x + 1 = 6 + 1 = 7
Sum of their squares = 5² + 6² + 7²
= 25 + 36 + 49
= 110
I hope this helps you.
