The numbers are in the ratio of 1:4:2.

Let the numbers be a, b and c.

So, a = 1x, b = 4x, c = 2x.

So according to the question,

a²+b²+c² = 1701

(1x)² + (4x)² + (2x)² = 1701

On solving the above equation we get,

x = +9 or x=-9.

But since we want positive numbers we will take x=+9.

Hence, a = 9, b = 36, c = 18.
