so first of all, we needa make the denominators of both rational numbers same

LCM of 6 and 4 = 2 × 2 × 3

= 12

• 3/6 = (3 × 2)/(6 × 2)

= 6/12

• 3/4 = (3 × 3)/(4 × 3)

= 9/12
