pressure is formed by the movement of water or fluid molecules when it collides with each other or the wall of container
as we all know pressure on the wall of container by the liquid is directly proportional to the thrust and inversely proportional to the area
so by this conclusion we can say that
p = thrust \div area
50000=thrust/0.05
50000*0.05=thrust
2500=thrust

Question-

Find the thrust required to exert a pressure of 50000 Pascal on area of 0.05m².

Given-

  • Pressure = 50000 Pa

  • Area = 0.05m²

To find-

  • Thrust or force

Calculation-

We know,

  •  {\underline {\boxed {\rm {\blue { P = \frac { Thrust}{Area} }}}}}

So,

 {\boxed {\sf {\red { Thrust = Pressure \times Area } }}}

Substituting values-

 \sf { ☞ Thrust = 50000N/m² × 0.05m²}

 \sf { ☞ Thrust = 500\cancel 0\cancel0 \times  \frac{5}{1 \cancel 0\cancel0} }

 \sf\red { ☞ Thrust = 2500N }

The thrust required to exert a pressure of 50000 Pascal on area of 0.05m² is 2500N.
