P = 14000

R = 2 p.c.p.a.

S.I. = 1120

S.I. = (P x R x T)÷100

T = (S.I. x 100)÷(P x R)

T = (1120 x 100) ÷ (14000 x 2)

T = 112000 ÷ 28000

T = 112 ÷ 28 = 56 ÷ 14 = 28 ÷ 7

T = 4

Hence, the timespan is 4 years
