Given :

⬤ Principle = Rs. 6400

⬤ Simple Interest = Rs. 1152

⬤ Rate of Interest = 6% p.a

To Find :

⬤ Time .

Formula Used :

\sf[\:{Simple\:Interest=\dfrac{P\times{R}\times{T}}{100}\:]}

Solution :

Here :

  • P = Principle
  • R = Rate
  • T = Time
  • S.I = Simple Interest

According to the Formula :

1152 = 6400 × 6 × T/100

1152 = 64 × 6 × T

1152 = 384 × T

T = 1152/384

T = 3 years

Therefore , Time is 3 years .

Check :

S.I = P×R×T/100

1152 = 6400 × 6 × 3/100

1152 = 64 × 6 × 3

1152 = 1152

Hence Checked .

Related Formulas :

  • Simple Interest = P × R × T/100
  • Amount = P + S.I
  • Compound Interest = Amount - Principle
