In this case, first we have to calculate the total distance travelled by the train.
So, the total distance travelled by the train
= (200+400) m
= 600 m

Now, it is given that the train's speed = 36 km/h
= 10 m/s

Hence, Time taken to cross the bridge
= Total distance / Speed
= 600 / 10
= 60 s


Answer : The time taken by the train to cross the bridge is 60 seconds.
