Answer:

Side of cubical tank is 2000mm = 2metre

so volume of cubical tank = (side)³

= (2)³= 8m³

and rate of flow of affluents = 100mL per second.

We know that ,

1l =  {10}^{ - 3}  \:  {m}^{3}

So,

1ml =  {10}^{ - 6}  \:  {m}^{ 3}

So, Rate of flow = 100 mL/sec

 = 100 \times  {10}^{ - 6}  {m}^{3}  \: per \: sec

 =  {10}^{ - 4}  {m}^{3}  \: per \: second

time \: taken =  \frac{volume}{rate \: of \: flow}

 =  >  \frac{8 {m}^{3} }{ {10}^{ - 4} {m}^{3}  per \: second}

 =  > 8 \times  {10}^{4} seconds
