Given:-

x^{2} +y^2+xy=1

To Find:-

Find the total differential coefficient of x^2y with respect to x when x and y are connected by the relation  x^{2} +y^2+xy=1

Solution:-

It is given that  x^{2} +y^2+xy=1

let,  w=x^{2} +y^{2}+xy-1

then, to find the total differential coefficient , we have

dw=w_{x}+w_{y}    , where w_{x} and w_{y} represent the differentiation of w with respect to x.

Therefore,  the total differential coefficient is given as

dw=(2x+y)+(2y+x)
