S = Vt

for first 10 minute,

V1 = 50km^-h

t1 = 10 min or 1/6 hour

so,

S1 = V1 × t1

S1 = 50 × (1/6)

S1 = 25/3 km

for last 10 minutes

V2 = 60 km^-h

t2 = 10 min or 1/6 hour

S2 = V2×t2

S2 = 60 × (1/6)

S2 = 10km

Total distance = St

St = S1 + S2

St= (8.33333+10)

St = 18.3333km
