the numbers which are divisible by 6 in between 100 and 300 are 102,108,114,120.................294.

the numbers which are exactly divisible by both 4 and 6 are 108,120,132,...................288

first term (a)=108

common difference (d)=12

let 288 be the nth term of the AP

an=a+(n-1)d

288=108+(n-1)12

288-108=(n-1)12

180/12=n-1

n=15+1

n=16

therefore, there are 16 numbers which are exactly divisible by both 4 and 6 in between 100 and 300.
