Explanation:

in the triangle on the top the diagonal sides are in series so 3 + 3 = 6

the third side is in parallel so 1/6 + 1/3 = 1/ 1/2 = 2ohms resistance

now in the square the three sides are now in series so 2+2+2 = 6

the fourth side is in parallel so equivalent resistance = 1/6 + 1/3 = 1/ 1/2 = 2ohms resistance

now another square 2 + 2 + 2 = 6 ohms (eq 1)

now in smaller square inside three sides are in series 2+2+2 = 6 ohms

4th side is in parallel so 1/6 + 1/3 = 1/ 1/2 = 2ohms resistance( eq 2)

now eq 1 and eq 2 are in parallel

so equivalent resistance = 1/6+1/2 = 1/ 4/6 = 3/2

therefore equivalent resistance is 3/2 ohms
