Let

R1 = 2 ohm

R2 = 1 ohm

R3 = 2 ohm

R4 = 2 ohm

R5 = 2 ohm

R6 = 2 ohm

Here R1 and R2 are in series, R4 and R5 are also in series

R1 + R2 = 2 + 1 = 3 ohm

R4 + R5 = 2 + 2 = 4 ohm

Now all the resistors became parallel

So using parallel combination formula

1/R = 1/R1 +1/R2 +1/R3

1/R = 1/3 +1/4 + 1/2 +1/2

1/R = 4+3+6+6/12

1/R = 19/12

R = 12/19
