Given :-

  • Dimensions of cuboid are 4cm,6cm,7cm .

To Find :-

  • Total surface area of cuboid .
  • Curved surface area of cuboid .

Solution :-

we know that,

  • TSA of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl)
  • CSA of cuboid = 2(l + b) * h

Putting all values we get,

→ TSA = 2(4*6 + 6*7 + 7*4)

→ TSA = 2(24 + 42 + 28)

→ TSA = 2 * 94

→ TSA = 188 cm² . (Ans.)

and,

→ CSA = 2(l + b) * h

since it is not given that, which one is height .

  • CSA , if height = 4 => 2(6 + 7)*4 = 8 * 13 = 104 cm².
  • CSA , if height = 6 => 2(4 + 7)*6 = 12 * 11 = 132 cm².
  • CSA , if height = 7 => 2(6 + 4)*7 = 14 * 10 = 140 cm².
