Given-

Lenght=20cm.

breadth =15cm.

height =18cm.

To find:

Total surface area and lateral surface area of cuboid.

Solution:

Lateral surface area :

= 2h (l + b)=2h(l+b)

=2× 18( 20+15)

= 35× 71

= 2485cm²

Total surface area

= 2(lb + bh + hl)=2(lb+bh+hl)

= 2(20×15+15×18+18×20)

= 2( 300+270+360)

= 2(930)

= 1860cm²

Hence, Lateral surface area of cuboid is 2485cm²and Total surface area is 1860cm².

Answer:

The surface area of a cuboid can be mathematically represented by the equation: 2lw+2wh+2hl, where l = length, w = width (or breadth), and h = height. Since we are given all of these values, all we need to do is plug it into the equation. Doing so would result in an answer of 1300 cm2.
