Given :-

• Length = 6cm

• Breadth = 4cm

• Height = 2cm

To find :-

• The total surface area of a cuboid .

• The lateral surface area of a cuboid .

Solution :-

We know , that TSA of cuboid = 2 ( lb + bh + hl )

Putting the given data ,

➝ 2 ( 6×4 + 4×2 + 2×6 )

➝ 2 ( 24 + 8+ 12 )

➝ 2 ( 24 + 20 )

➝ 2 ( 44 )

➝ 88 cm²

We know , that LSA of cuboid = 2 ( l + b ) × h

Putting the given data ,

2 ( l + b ) × h

➝ 2 ( 6 + 4 ) × 2

➝ 2 ( 10 ) × 2

➝ 20 × 2

➝ 40 cm²
