Hello Mate!

Hence, the area of base = 610 cm²

610 cm² = πr²

610/π = r²

610 × 7/22 = r²

√194.1 = r

13.9 or approx 14 cm = Radius

Total surface area of cylinder = 2πr(h+r)

= 2 × 22/7 × 14 cm ( 3 × 100 cm + 14 cm )

= 88 cm × 314 cm

= 27,632 cm²

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

= πr² × h

= 610 cm² × 300 cm

= 1,83,000 cm³ or 0.183 m³

Have great future ahead!

Solutions :-

Given :
Area of the base = 610 cm²
Height = 3 m = 3 × 100 cm = 300 cm

Area of base = πr²
=> 610 = πr²
=> 610×7/22 = r²
=> 194.1 = r²
=> √194.1 = r = 13.93 or 14 approx.

Therefore,
Radius = 14 cm

Find the total surface area of cylinder :-

Total surface area = 2πr(h + r) sq. unit
= 2 × 22/7 × 14 (300 + 14) cm²
= 88 × 314 cm²
= 27632 cm²

Find the volume of cylinder :-

Volume = πr²h cu. unit
= 22/7 × 14² × 300 cm³
= 610 × 300 cm³
= 183000 cm³

Hence,
Total surface area of cylinder = 27,632 cm²
Volume of cylinder = 183000 cm³
