Answer:

(a) edge , a = 4.5cm

thus , Total Surface Area (T.S.A) = 6a^2 = 6(4.5)^2 = 6(20.25) = 121.5 cm^2

lateral surface area (L.S.A) = 4a^2 = 4(4.5)^2 = 4(20.25) = 81 cm^2

Length of diagonal (D) = a√3 = 4.5√3 = 7.794 cm

(b) edge , b = 3.2cm

thus, T S.A. = 6b^2 = 6(3.2)^2 = 6(10.24) = 61.44 cm^2

L.S.A. = 4b^2 = 4(3.2)^2 = 4(10.24) = 40.96 cm^2

D = b√3 = 3.2√3

Similarly (c) & (d) respectively;

answers are TSA = 6( edge )^2 = 864 dm^2

LSA = 4(edge )^2= 576 dm^2

D= edge(√3) = 12√3 dm

edge = 1dm 5cm = 10cm + 5cm = 15 cm

TSA = 1350 cm^2

LSA = 900cm^2

D= 15√3
