Find the total surface area of a closed cardboard box of length 0.5m, breadth 25cm and height 15cm?

Heya,

We know, that the Card-board box is Cuboidal in shape.

Lenth [l]of box = 0.5 m = 50 cm
Breadth [b] of box = 25 cm
Height [h] of box = 15 cm

We know,
Total surface area of Cuboid
= 2[ (l×b) + (b×h) + (l×h)]

∴ Total surface area of Box
= 2[ (50×20) + (20×15) + (50×15) ] cm²
= 2[ 1,000 + 300 + 750 ] cm²
= 2[ 2050 ] cm²
= 4,100 cm²
