Find the total surface area of a closed cylindrical drunk if it's diameter is 50 cm and hight is 45 cm.

Given :

  • Diameter of Drum is 50 cm .
  • Height of Drum is 45 cm .

To Find :

  • Total Surface Area of Cylindrical Drum .

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Radius=\cancel\dfrac{50}{2}=25\:cm}

\longmapsto\tt{Height=45\:cm}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{T.S.A\:of\:Cylinder=2\pi{r(r+h)}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{2\times\dfrac{314}{{\cancel{100}}}\times{{\cancel{25}}}\times{(25+45)}}

\longmapsto\tt{{\not{2}}\times\dfrac{314}{{\not{4}}}\times{(25+45)}}

\longmapsto\tt{\cancel\dfrac{314}{2}\times{70}}

\longmapsto\tt{157\times{70}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{10990\:{cm}^{2}}

So , The T.S.A of Drum is 10990 cm² ..
