Answer:

Given :-

  • Slanght height = 14 cm
  • Diameter = 14 cm

To Find :-

Total surface area of cone

SoluTion :-

At first we will half the diameter to make radius

Radius = 14/2

  • Radius = 7 cm

Now,

TSA of cone = πrl + πr²

TSA = 22/7 × 7 × 14 + 22/7 × 7²

TSA = 22/7 × 7 × 14 + 22/7 × 49

TSA = 22 × 14 + 22 × 7

TSA = 308 + 154

TSA = 462 cm²

Hence

 \therefore \sf \underline{TSA  \: of \:  cone \:  is  \: 462  \: cm^2}

l²=r²+h²

l²=14²+7² , r=d/2

l²=196+49

l²= 245

l =15.65

T.S.A=πrl + πr²

= 22 x7x15.65 + 22 x49

7 7

=344.3+154cm²

= 498.3 cm²
