Given:

Slant height = 28m

Diameter = 48m

To find:

Total surface area of the cone.

Solution:

Radius of the cone = 48÷2

= 24m

TSA of the cone = πr(r+l)

 = π×24×(24+28)

 \red{\sf{= 3,918.72m³}}

Hence, the total surface area is 3,918.72m³ !!

Additional Information:

  •  \mathtt{TSA_{(cone)} = πr(r+l)}
  •  \mathtt{CSA_{(cone)} = πrl}
  •  \mathtt{CSA_{(sphere)} = 4πr²}
  •  \mathtt{TSA_{(cylinder)} = 2πr(h + r)}
  •  \mathtt{CSA_{(cylinder)} = 2πrh²}
