Total surface area of cone=πr(r+l)

Given, radius = 2/r

and slant height =2l

Therefore new total surface area of cone =π 2/r( 2/r +2l)

=π( r^2/4 +rl)

=πr(l+ r/4)

Answer:

Given,

Slant height ( l ) = 2l

radius (r) = r/2

=> Total surface area of cone =

2 \times \: r \: (r \: + l) \\ 2\pi \: \times \: \frac{r}{2} ( \frac{r}{2} + 2l) \\ \pi \: r \: (\frac{r \: + 4l}{2} ) \: sq \: units
