Answer:

Total surface area of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl)

2(2.5*2+2*3+3*2.5)

2 (5+6+7.5)

2*18.5

37 m^2

Given :

  • length of cuboid = 2.5 m

  • breadth of cuboid = 2 m

  • height of cuboid = 3 m

To find :

  • total surface area (T.S.A)

Formula used :

  • T.S.A = 2 ( lb+ lh+ bh)

where :-

  • l = length
  • b= breadth
  • h= height

Solution :

⟹ T.S.A = 2 ( lb+ lh+ bh)

Now put :-

  • l = 2.5
  • b= 2
  • h = 3

⟹ T.S.A = 2 [ ( 2.5×2) + (2.5×3) + (2×3)]

⟹ T.S.A = 2 [ ( 2.5×2) + (2.5×3) + (2×3)]

⟹ T.S.A = 2 [ 5 + 7.5 + 6]

⟹ T.S.A = 2 [ 5 + 7.5 + 6]

⟹ T.S.A = 2 × 18.5

⟹ T.S.A = 37 m²

Answer : T.S.A = 37 m²
