Total surface area of cuboid=2(length×breadth + breadth×height + height×length)

2(8×5 + 5×3.5 + 3.5×8)

2× 85.5

171m^2

GIVEN:-

  • Length of cuboid is 8 metres.
  • Breadth of cuboid is 5 metres.
  • Height of cuboid is 3.5 metres.

TO FIND:-

  • Surface Area of cuboid?

SOLUTION:-

Surface Area of cuboid:-

\dag\small{\boxed{\underline{\rm{\pink{2(length×breadth)+(breadth×height)+(height×length)}}}}}

Let's put the values:-

  • 2(8×5)+(5×3.5)+(3.5×8)
  • 2×(40+17.5+28)
  • 2×85.5
  • 171 metres

Hence, surface area of cuboid with dimensions 8 metres, 5 metres and 3.5 metres is 220 metres.
