total surface area = 2(lb+bh+hl)

= 2[ (2.5×2) + (2×2.4) + (2.4×2.5) ]

= 2(5+4.8+6)

= 2(15.8) = 31.6m is the answer

Answer:

9.82 m² or 98200 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Total Surface Area = 2(lb+bh+hl)

L = 2.5 cm , B = 2 m , H = 2.4 m

Change cm into metre

L = 2.5÷100 = 0.025 m

= 2 [ ( 0.025×2) + ( 2×2.4) + ( 2.4×0.025 ) ]

= 2 ( 0.05 + 4.8 + 0.06 )

= 2 ( 4.91)

= 9.82 m²

or 98200 cm²
