find the total surface area of the solid object made up of a hemisphere and a cone in the given figure . where the slant height and the height of the cone are 25 cm and 24 cm respectively. ( explain with step by step process )​

we know that

l(slant height)=25

h(height of cone)=24

so r^2(radius of cone as well as sphere )=25^2-24^2=49

=>r=7 cm

surface area of cone(curved)= pi*r*l

                                               =22*7*25/7=25*22=550cm^2

suface area of hemisphere=4*pi*r*r/2(coz' it is half a sphere)

                                            =4*22*7*7/7/2=2*22*7=308cm^2

so the answer=308+550=858 cm^2
