Total surface area of cube = 6a²

= 6(12)²

= 6(144)

= 864 cm²

Total surface area of a cube = 6a², (where a = length of one side)

==> TSA = 6(12)²

= 6 × 144

= 864

∴Required TSA of cube = 864 cm² ✅

If you find it hard to remember the formulas, just understand the relationship between areas and the sides of a prism,

I.e, Volume = Base area × height

LSA = Base perimeter × height

TSA = 2 Base area × height

If you know this then you don't have to mug up the formulas ✌☺
