Given :

Points = ( -3,-5 ) , ( -6,-8 )

Slope of the line

Slope M = ( y₂ - y₁ ) / ( x₂ - x₁ )

              = ( -8 - (-5 ) ) / ( -6 - (-3 )

              = ( - 8 + 5 ) / ( - 6 + 3 )

              = -3 / - 3

              = 1

The slope of the line is 1.

Equation of line

Equation = y - y₁ = m ( x - x₁ )

               = y - ( - 5 ) = 1 ( x - ( - 3 ) )

               = y + 5 = x + 3

               = x - y = 5 - 3

               = x - y = 2

The equation of the line will be x - y = 2

I could not understand the meaning of traditional points.
