Answer :-

  • TSA of the Cube = 337.5 cm²
  • LSA of the Cube = 225 cm²

Given :-

  • Edge of Cube = 7.5 cm

To Find :-

  • TSA of the Cube = ?
  • LSA of the Cube = ?

Explanation :-

As we know,

  • Total Surface Area (TSA) :- The area of body of a 3-D shape including it's base and top.
  • Lateral Surface Area (LSA) :- The area of body of a 3-D shape excluding it's base and top.

\underline { \boxed { \bf \implies TSA \: of \: Cube = 6(Edge)^2 }}

\underline { \boxed { \bf \implies LSA \: of \: Cube = 4(Edge)^2 }}

Now Substituting the values,

Finding TSA of Cube

\rm \implies TSA \: of \: Cube = 6(Edge)^2

\rm \implies 6(7.5)^2

\rm \implies 6(56.25)

\rm \implies 6 \times 56.25

\underline { \boxed { \bf \implies 337.5 \; \; cm^2}}

Finding LSA of Cube

\rm \implies LSA \: of \: Cube = 4(Edge)^2

\rm \implies 4(7.5)^2

\rm \implies 4(56.25)

\rm \implies 4 \times 56.25

\underline { \boxed { \bf \implies 225 \; \; cm^2}}

Hence, the TSA and LSA of the Cube are 337.5 cm² and 225 cm² respectively.
