(i)

The measurement of side of the cube = 8 meters

The Formula Used To Calculate The TSA Of A Cube:

= 6a^2

Substituting the side measurement in this formula we get:

= 6 x 8 x 8

= 48 x 8

= 384 m^2

Therefore, the TSA of the cube is 384 m^2.

The formula used to calculate the LSA of a cube:

= 4a^2

Substituting the side measurement in this formula we get:

= 4 x 8 x 8

= 64 x 4

= 256 m^2

Therefore, the lateral surface area of the cube is 256 m^2.

(ii)

The side measurement of the cube = 21 cm

Substituting the value of side measurement in the formula to find the TSA of a cube:

= 6 x 21 x 21

= 126 x 21

= 2646 cm^2

Therefore, the total surface area of the cube is 2646 cm^2.

Substituting the values of side measurement in the formula to find the LSA of a cube:

= 4 x 21 x 21

= 84 x 21

= 1764 cm^2

Therefore, the lateral surface area of the cube is 1764 cm^2.

(iii)

The side measurement of the cube = 7.5 cm

Substituting the values of side measurement in the formula to find the LSA of a cube:

= 4 x 7.5 x 7.5

= 30 x 7.5

= 225 cm^2

Therefore, the lateral surface area of the cube is 225 cm^2.

Substituting the values of side measurement in the formula to find the total surface area of the cube:

= 6 x 7.5 x 7.5

= 45 x 7.5

= 337.5 cm^2

Therefore, the total surface area of the cube is 225 cm^2.
