Answer:

T.S.A=1160 cm² & L.S.A=560 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

T.S.A of cuboid = 2(l×b+b×h+h×l)

=> 2(20×15+15×8+8×20)

= 2(300+120+160)

= 2(580)

= 1160 cm²

L.S.A of cuboid = 2(l+b)×h

=> 2(20+15)×8

= 2(35)×8

= 70×8

= 560 cm²

I hope it will help you

Answer :-

  • TSA of Cuboid = 1160 cm²
  • LSA of Cuboid = 560 cm²

Given :-

  • Length of Cuboid = 20 cm
  • Breadth of Cuboid = 15 cm
  • Height of Cuboid = 8 cm

To Find :-

  • TSA of Cuboid = ?
  • LSA of Cuboid = ?

Explanation :-

As we Know,

\blue { \boxed { \bf \implies TSA \: of \: Cuboid = 2(LB + BH + HL) }}

\blue { \boxed { \bf \implies LSA \: of \: Cuboid = 2H(L+B) }}

Now,Substituting the values

\bf \odot \: For \: TSA \: of \: Cuboid

\rm : \: \longrightarrow 2(LB + BH + HL)

\rm : \: \longrightarrow 2[20(15) + 15(8) + 8(20)]

\rm : \: \longrightarrow 2[300 + 120 + 160]

\rm : \: \longrightarrow 2(580)

\red { \underline { \boxed { \bf : \: \longrightarrow 1160 \: cm^2 }}}

\bf \odot \: For \: LSA \: of \: Cuboid

\rm : \: \longrightarrow 2H(L + B)

\rm : \: \longrightarrow 2(8)[20 + 15]

\rm : \: \longrightarrow 16 (35)

\red { \underline { \boxed {\bf : \: \longrightarrow 560 \: cm^2 }}}

Hence, the TSA and LSA of the cuboid are 1160 cm² and 560 cm² respectively.
