Let the first odd integer be x

then, second be (x+2)

According to question :

x + (x +2) = 140

2x + 2 = 140

2x = 140-2

2x = 138

x = 138/2

x = 69

hence, first odd integer = x = 69

and second odd integer = x+2 = 69+2 = 71
