let x.... be the 1st even number

x+2... be the 2nd even number

x(x+2) = 120

x^2 + 2x - 120 = 0

(x-10)(x+12)= 0

x1=10/×2 =-12...1st even number

x1=12/×2 =-10...2nd even number
