Let D = ( Y - X )/n + 1 = 0.55 - 0.5 / 2+1 = 0.05/3




So, the two rational Numbers between 0.5 and 0.55 are :



(X + D ) and ( X + 2D )




( 0.5 + 0.05/3 ) and ( 0.5 + 2 × 0.05/3 )









(1.5 + 0.05/3 ) and ( 6 +0.1/3 )






1.55/3 and 6.1/3
