Let one no. be x
And another no. y
x+y=8
x-y=8
On solving simultaneously
2x=16
x=8
Then y=8-8
y=0
Hope it helped u!

Let the two numbers be X and Y respectively

Now the two equations according to the question

 X+Y=8

X-Y=8

By adding the above two equations we get

2X=16

X = 16/2

X = 8

Now putting this value of X in X+Y = 8

8+Y=8

Y = 8 -8

Y=0

Hence the values are X=8 and Y = 0
