area of trapezium= 1/2×(add of 2parallel side) ×h
1.6=1/2×(x+0.8+x)×1
1.6×2=2x+0.8
3.2= 2x+0.8
3.2-0.8=2x
2.4=2x
x=1.2
so 1 parallel side is x=1.2m=12dm
greater parallel side isx+0.8=1.2+0.8
2m=20dm

1.6 {m}^{2}  =  \frac{1}{2} (x + x + 0.8m) \times 1m

1.6  {m}^{2} \times 2 = x + x + 0.8

2.12 = 2x + 0.8

2.12m - 0.8m = 2x

2.4m = 2x

 \dfrac{2.4m}{2}  = x

1.2 = x
