Let the 1st parallel side be x
So the other parallel side=x+8 dm
Area of the trapezium=1.6 dm
Altitude of the trapezium=10 dm
=1/ 2×10 dm×(x+8x) dm= 10 dm
=5×9x = 10
=9x =10/5
=9x = 2
=x = 2/9
So 1st parallel side=2/9dm
Hence 2nd parallel side= x+8dm
=2/9 dm+8dm
=74/9dm
