When a vector is inclined to an angle of θ with the x-axis, the component of that vector along the x-axis is F_{x}=F cosθ as shown in the picture below.

It is given that magnitude of the force F=100N and angle of inclination

θ=30⁰, after substitution we get F_{x} =100*cos30=100*0.86=86N

The component of the vector along the y-axis is F_{y} =F sinθ as shown.

that is F_{y}=100*sin30=100*0.5=50N
