 \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \: 3x + 4y = 7 \\  =  > \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  3x = 7 - 4y \\  =  > \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  x =  \frac{7 - 4y}{3}

Taking \: y = 1,  \\ x =  \frac{7 - 4(1)}{3}  =  \frac{7 - 4}{3}  =  \frac{3}{3}  = 1 \\  \\  \\

Taking \: y =   - 2, \\ x =  \frac{7 - 4( - 2)}{3}  =  \frac{7 + 8}{3}  =  \frac{15}{3}  = 5 \\  \\

So, \: two \: solutions \: are \:  \\ x = 1, \: y = 1 \\ and \\ x = 5, \: y =  - 2
