$Taking \: y = 1, \\ x = \frac{7 - 4(1)}{3} = \frac{7 - 4}{3} = \frac{3}{3} = 1$

$Taking \: y = - 2, \\ x = \frac{7 - 4( - 2)}{3} = \frac{7 + 8}{3} = \frac{15}{3} = 5$

$So, \: two \: solutions \: are \: \\ x = 1, \: y = 1 \\ and \\ x = 5, \: y = - 2$
