Here is your answer..................

Let the two consecutive numbers be ( x - 1) and x respectively.

The larger number is x.

It is given that 4/5 the of the smaller number is equal to the larger number.

 \frac{4(x - 1)}{5} = x


X = 4


X - 1 = 3.
